Program Volunteers assist the staff Monday through Friday in operating the Center – a commitment of one morning a week, normally from 7:30 am to 11:30 am is requested. Other schedules can be accommodated. Volunteers are needed for:

• Children’s Play Area – supervision
  and creative play
• Kitchen – dishwashing or preparation
  of food
• Breakfast Counter – serving food
• Receiving Desk – answering phone,
  back door and receiving donations
• Visiting with guests

or corporate volunteer groups can provide assistance at Wellspring special events such as the Holiday Store, Mother’s Day Brunch or Guest Cultural Celebrations.

Special Event Fundraising Committees provide leadership and organizational planning for Wellspring fundraising events such as the Golf Tournament or Dinner & Auction Event. Fundraising committees normally meet in the evenings.

Christmas Store Program Volunteers

Plans are now underway for the Wellspring Women’s Center Christmas Store, an annual event that makes sure our guests have Christmas presents to give to their families.. If you would like more information about this year’s Store, click here for complete details.

It takes many hands and hearts to make our Christmas Store Program a success.
There are several ways to get involved.
Volunteers are needed for:
     -accepting donations
     -setting up, sorting, and stocking the store
     -shopping with guests

Project Volunteers assist on an “as needed” basis. They can help with pick-up of donated foods, preparation of the Wellspring newsletter or clerical support in the business office. Individuals, church
