Art of Being
The mission of the Art of Being program is for women to experience wellness through creativity. This happens through expressive therapy sessions, crafting classes, and art workshops. Any woman in the community is welcome to participate, and all activities and materials are offered at no cost.
See what women who participate in our program have to say about it!

Art of Being Expressive Therapy Group Intensive
Creative expression is a powerful tool to cultivate the positive qualities of mindfulness and insight. Being present in our lives can help us to tap into our inner strength and wisdom and increase our feelings of well-being and joy.
In this innovative 10 week program, we explore our creativity using a combination of activities such as art, poetry, dance, music, journaling and more. Using a different area of focus each week, we will work to discover imaginative ways of expressing our thoughts and emotions. Sessions will be team-taught by a licensed clinical social worker, an MSW intern and an artist, and will be limited to 16 participants. Open to all women, and art experience is not necessary.

Days and times will vary, and sign-ups will be required in order to help us plan for adequate materials and assistance.
These workshops are offered free of charge and materials will be provided at no cost.
