Wellspring Women’s Center’s volunteers are the heart of our organization. We are grateful for their dedication, hard-work and service. We simply could not function without their help!

General Volunteer Information

Volunteers assist the staff with the general operation of the Center Monday through Friday– a commitment of one morning a week, between 7:30 am to 11:30 am, with two volunteer shifts each weekday morning: 7:30-9 am or 9-11:30 am.

Volunteers are needed for the following areas:

  • Preparing and serving food
  • Greeting guests at the door
  • Working with children in the Children’s Corner
  • Answering the phone and packaging giveaway items in The Hub

Group Volunteer Information

We always welcome the help of school groups and parent organizations, corporate organizations, or religious groups. We accommodate groups of 6-8 people.  Groups arrive at Wellspring by 7 am, take a tour of the Center, receive a brief orientation, and then volunteer.  We ask that volunteers stay until 12 pm to help with clean-up.

Other Ways to Volunteer

If you are looking for other ways to volunteer, consider joining our Speakers Bureau (table at local events and speak to local groups about Wellspring). We also have a Gratitude Club, which is a small commitment of a few hours per month writing thank you notes to our donors. Are you tech savvy or have a background in web/video design? We would love to work with you!
